Oh how the years are creeping up on us. This January R-CADE turns 7 whole years old. We have survived an energy crisis, a flood and even a pandemic! Our official anniversary is the 20th of January, but as that lands on a Monday this year (and we never open on Mondays), we will be hosting a whole weekend of birthday fun beforehand, running from Thursday the 16th until Sunday the 19th of January. Our upcoming events and offers will include the following:
R-CADE raffle
We will be running a raffle on all for days of our birthday weekend. To enter our raffle all you have to do is book an arcade pass for a game session on this weekend. When you arrive for your session you can request a raffle ticket absolutely free by asking a staff member during check in. All of our raffle tickets will be put into one big pot and on Sunday the 19th from 6pm we will host a live draw on our socials to announce our winners. Prizes will include arcade passes, retro game merch, R-CADE goodie bags and posters! More prizes will also be announced closer to the day.
R-CADE Birthday Lucky Bags
We will be creating a series of lucky bags for sale in R-CADE based on the iconic 90's Dick Turtle Space Pirate bags! These one of a kind bags will contain our brand new R-CADE lanyard, sweets, toys and an activity sheet, a real nostalgia trip! We will only have a few of these lucky bags on offer so make sure to visit us on our birthday weekend to grab your own piece of R-CADE history.
R-CADE passes for only £7
For one day only, on Sunday the 19th of January we will be offering our 1 hour All Ages arcade sessions for only £7. We have a discount code that you can enter at checkout that will reduce the price of our arcade session from £10 to £7. We have a couple of t&c's for this discount so make sure to read below before you book:
Our discount code is only available for game sessions on Sunday the 19th of January between 12 and 7pm.
The discount code can only be used once per person booking. For example if you are booking a group of 5, the discount code will only apply to one pass.
The discount code can only be used once per email address and profile. The discount will not work if you book multiple separate passes under the same name and email address.
Our discount code applies to passes for gamers aged 8 and up, this includes adult passes.
If you are attending with a child aged 7 and younger you must purchase a young child pass AND an adult pass. The discount code will apply to the adult pass only.
The discount code is HAPPY7 . To redeem this code all you need to do is book your arcade passes as normal via our bookings page HERE, and when you reach the payments page there will be a coupon code window where you can add the above code and this will remove the discount from your total. From then you will just pay the remaining fee as normal.
Our discount code is not to be used to book large groups or parties, or for any other dates other than the 19th of January. Our standard All Ages rules still apply that you can read on the bookings page HERE.
If you are found to misuse or break any of the rules stated above we reserve the right to automatically cancel your booking.
10p FREDDO'S!
For one month only we are truly getting nostalgic by offering Freddo chocolate bars for only 10p! We have original chocolate and caramel available in store. Just pop in and enjoy like it's 1999! To make things fair, Freddo's can only be purchased one per person per day. This offer will continue throughout January until we run out of Freddo's.
R-CADE Birthday Cake
During our birthday weekend we will have free cake for everyone visiting us for a game session! Unfortunately cake is not allowed in the arcade, but you are welcome to enjoy a slice once your game session is complete, because of course we can't celebrate a birthday without cake!
